Jim Sturgeon సినిమా జాబితా

Jim is the youngest in a family of four and grew up on a farm near Loch Lomond in Scotland with his parents and three sisters. He got his first taste of acting when he joined his local young farmers club and took part in their annual variety concerts. On leaving school at 16 Jim worked on the family dairy/livestock farm until finally realising that it wasn't for him, and at the age of 28 auditioned for a place in The Royal Scottish Academy Of Music And Drama where he won a place on the acting course. Jim was devastated when his father William lost his battle with cancer in 2002, and acting took a back seat as he returned to run the farm. Jim graduated in 2003 and moved to London to continue his career. As well as his film and television work Jim has also worked extensively on stage in theatres throughout his native Scotland as well as in London. He recently shared the West End stage with Kenneth Cranham and Claire Skinner in the critically acclaimed and award winning play 'The Father', written by French playwright Florian Zellar the play tells the story of an ageing man's struggle with alzheimer's disease. Jim was back in London's West End in 2018 where he played the lead role of Dr Alec Harvey in Kneehigh Theatre's multi-award winning production of 'Brief Encounter' which was directed by Emma Rice.
